SHORTBREAD COOKIES
        
1 lb. butter 5 cups flours sifted 1 cup sugar pinch of salt
Cream butters sugar. Add flour and salt.
Put in pans medium cookie sheet, roll with glass. Prick with fork.
Bake 1 hour at 325° oven.
Cut right away.
Put back in oven which has been turned off and leave for several hours.
