In large frying pan melt together, 1⁄2 1b. cut-up dates, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 stick oleo margarine.
Remove from fire; add one egg. Then cook over low fires stirring constantly for 8 minutes.
Remove from stove and add 2 1⁄2 cups of Rice Krispies. Then form in small balls and roll in flaked coconut.
