Place fruit in bottom of 9 x 13 x 2 baking-pan or Admilar size pan. You can use a large can of peaches, juice and all, but berries, cherries, etc. are good too.
Mix together
1 cup: flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sugar
dash of salt.
Break one egg into this and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Dot with pats of butter. Bake at 350° oven-about 45 minutes-or until browned. This is similar to a cobbler but less rich.
